The following additional features add to the ease of use and strength of the TextMine system. All are included with TextMine® School SMS, with the exception of the Inbox, on which read more here.
Ease of Integration
TextMine easily integrates with existing systems such as SIMS, CMIS, and in fact almost any database used by the school
This means that there is no re-typing of names or numbers: the system can be ready to go in minutes.
Shared Features
A school footer can appear at the end of each message. For example, 'From Whitehill 0117355444'.
Several staff members can share the same database of mobile numbers.
An 'Inbox' can be viewed by designated staff members. This show replies from parents, or even to a confidential 'bullying' text number for pupils.
If replies are not wanted, a school 'originator' instead of a phone number can be set such as 'Whitehill' (eleven letters or less).
Distribution lists (e.g. Parents Year Ten) can be shared amongst all users in a group.
Logs can be viewed of all messages by users or by time period.
