TextMine® Texts Appointment Reminders to UK Customers

TextMine® has today launched an important new upgrade to TextMine® Professional enabling it to send reservation confirmations by text message.

Users already had the benefit of a calendar which can synchronize with Microsoft Outlook (along with their contacts).

Now they can schedule a booking confirmation to be sent by text message (SMS) to their own customers. For example:

• Reminder: John Bloggs. Thu 14th Jun, 8:30pm. You have a table booked with us, please reply to this text to confirm.
  
  
• Reminder: Susie Smith. Tue 12th Jul, 11:30pm. Your dental appointment is booked at the above time, please call us if you no longer require it on 02073161837.
  
  
• Reminder: Trevor. Fri 15th Jul, 2:30pm. Just checking you are still on for the meeting. Please call me if not: 02073161837.
  
  

Such automated reminders are sent at a specified time before the appointment. It is particularly applicable to:

• Doctors, dentists, clinics, osteopaths, chiropractors, psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists.
  
• Hairdressers, exercise classes, beauty salons, health clubs, spas, dance classes, massage therapists, and vets.
  
• Restaurants, pubs, nightclubs.
  
• Garages, mechanics, sports clubs, leisure centres, tennis courts, squash courts, and gyms.
  
• Anyone who wants to confirm a meeting automatically.
  

TextMine® Professional also includes the unique TextMine® ability to search thousands of contact and calendar entries from any location. A user can send a text message command and receive the requested information in the return message. The service can be used with any mobile, and reduces the need for more expensive handheld devices for individuals and large workforces.

Alternatively, desk-based staff can log in via any browser either inside or outside the office to view data, and send messages and contact details via SMS.

Please note that this feature is only available to United Kingdom users. Most other TextMine features are available worldwide.
