View your address book and calendar information using text messaging. TextMine releases new product range.
31st October 2002 -- TextMine Limited announced today that it has released TextMine Personal, which allows users to read their address book and calendar information from any phone equipped with SMS text messaging capabilities.
To use the product, simply synchronize your MS Outlook program with the secure TextMine server using downloaded software. You are then free to view and edit your address book and diary information: on your mobile phone; on your PC; or on any web browser. TextMine Personal also allows those without Outlook to use TextMine’s online address book and calendar.
Head of Sales, Shola Kukoyi, said ‘The idea behind TextMine Personal is that you don’t need an expensive PDA or special phone to access all of your crucial personal data from wherever you are. TextMine works on any phone that can send SMS text messages, whether current generation, or future.’

Registration is free; messages sent from TextMine to UK mobile phones cost 25p each. A subscription package is also available which includes messages at a substantially lower cost.
