TextMine® ’s expertise lies in developing sophisticated, reliable, and industrial strength SMS applications. We have developed a gateway capable of handling huge numbers of users, many different applications, and extremely large volumes of messages with speed and security.

This gateway is scalable, robust, and has inherent persistent storage, providing protection against hardware failure. It is independent of any proprietary software vendor meaning that it can easily be maintained and updated, thereby protecting the Partner against the future of TextMine Limited itself.

TextMine ® has reverse billing connections with Orange, Vodafone, O2, and T-Mobile, plus non-reverse billed connections to networks all over the world.

About Text Messaging (SMS)

Some 1.5 billion SMS messages are sent globally every day, being greater than the number of e-mails sent. Over 2.5 billion are sent each month in the UK.

For urgent requests, pieces of news, and for intimate exchanges, 'texting' has been adopted by the majority of mobile telephone users, of which there are more than one billion, representing one out of every six people on the planet . In the UK and nost of Western Europe, there are more phones than people.

With a limit of 160 characters and only around twenty keys, what is the appeal of SMS? Its ubiquity forms a large part: if you know a person's GSM mobile number, you can send him or her a text message, and there is no need to find out if the recipient has the latest device, software, or contract. It is viral, it is immediate, it is easy, and it is everywhere. SMS is an evolving standard, through Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) and Enhanced Messaging Service (EMS) which enable more complex messages to be sent using TextMine's engine.
